Senior Care Services and Same-Day Caregiver Staffing
We offer a comprehensive array of care services for seniors and individuals with disabilities in Victoria and Richmond, B.C. We provide full-time, part-time, and on-call care — as well as same-day staffing when required. Our caregivers are passionate about making the care journey for you or your loved ones a joyful one.
Personal Care
For many seniors and disabled individuals, personal care can be a challenge. We help with basic personal hygiene such as:
- bathing
- nail trimming
- shaving
- using the toilet
- oral care
Maintaining good hygiene is vital for overall health and well-being, and is one of the most important services we offer.
We can custom train and provide a boutique service with the North American doctors that work with us on staff. If you have a special requirement, let us know.
Special Needs Support
We can assist with respite for caregivers by providing support for those with conditions, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, dialysis, other physical disabilities, and anything related to special needs.
We strive to match personalities and those younger people with disabilities with someone who will be able to provide support and engage in the right kind of fun.
Domestic Services
Our caregivers are willing to learn any recipes you like and support simple daily meal preparation work such as chopping, and set up or simple meal making on a daily basis. The worker can follow simple recipes, and more complicated ones with support and a dietician’s recommendations. As well, our caregivers love to cook with you so if you are a baker or chef at heart, you have found your sous chef in us. Most of our workers have sous chef training from a celebrity chef who is highly reputable. Feel free to ask us about this.
Our care workers are also able to assist with daily household chores such as dishes, laundry, vacuuming, and other light cleaning duties.
Transportation
Do you own a vehicle but have trouble driving, or need a hand with bringing home groceries, heading to an appointment, or riding the bus to a social engagement? Many of our staff have valid driver’s licenses, and we are happy to accompany our clients to their daily destinations, whether by automobile, taxi, bus, or on foot.
Being active and joining the community is one of the most effective ways for seniors and disabled individuals to maintain independence. We are here to support.
Mobility Assistance
Sometimes individuals may need assistances moving from point A to point B. Our staff can assist with situations such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and stairs.
Many of our employees have therapeutic massage training in different healing arts, so if your goal is to get more mobile or you need circulation support, we have you covered.
Companionship
Almost all of our caregivers have taken the listening class and are trained in the practice of active listening by our teaching staff, who have backgrounds in sociology and psychology. We know how to listen.
